Introduction#
Yet another trip with my Nikon Z5II + 24-120mm f/4 S combo.
During spring break 2026, I went to Fernie, BC, Canada for a ski trip. I took some pictures while I was there, and I chose some to showcase here.
Most of the shots here (except the portrait one, taken at f/4) were taken at f/8, ISO 100, with auto shutter speed on Aperture mode. I think the first one (“On the road”) was on Manual mode because we were moving with the car at high speed.
On the road#
The only picture I took in Alberta.
The City#
The city of Fernie, BC.
Panorama#
This one was fun to take, because it’s actually ~5 shots stacked together with Lightroom.
Valley#
A shot I took halfway down a ski slope.
Snowy#
This one feels cold, and I can confirm that it was.
Après-Ski Landscape#
Took this one during après-ski.
B&W Photos#
I took some black and white pictures, too. Here they are.
Megalophobia#
I particularly like how the mountain on the right feels enormous.
Bike Rack#
Lovely Fernie bicycle rack.
Portrait#
A portrait from the trip.
Mountainous Portrait#
A portrait of myself 😊
